This review is from: SOG Specialty Knives & Tools E37S-N SEAL Pup Elite Straight TiNi Blade with Nylon Sheath, Black (Tools & Home Improvement) This knife is exactly what I expected, quality and durability. I used it cleaning my first deer of the season and it did the job and retained it's sharpness. I consider it on the smaller side of most choices for a fixed blade knife but it's works to your advantage. It's big enough to tackle the heavy duty cutting but also small enough to handle the detailed cutting too. I'm also very happy with the nylon sheath. The blade fits tight into place and the pocket on the outside is large enough to actually be useful. The sheath also gives you several different options on how it can be carried/mounted with the strap set up on the back. If you're looking for a quality fixed blade that will handle most everything outside of cutting down trees, this would be an excellent choice! I especially like the straight blade, as opposed to the normal serrated surface on the Seal Pup. It is much easier to sharpen with a straight edge. The sheath is heavy duty and has a thick plastic insert for the blade. I will never need to buy another knife. I do wish it had an eye for attaching a lanyard, though, so I could hook it to my belt. You really wouldn't want to lose it!
